New Jersey County COVID-19 Test Centers

We have recapped below the current (4.9.20) Covid-19 county testing sites with each sites required information. For individuals currently enrolled in a healthcare plan, the plan will cover the cost of testing, be sure to check what other costs your plan may cover. If you do not have healthcare insurance, currently you will need to pay for the testing and associated costs.



Where: Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, 230 East Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652

Who: Bergen County first responders, all hospital employees and any symptomatic residents of Bergen

When: The Screening Survey is open from 8 am – 3pm, 7 days a week. If the survey is closed before 3pm, all available scheduled appointments for the day are full.

What do I need to do: You need to go to the following website to determine your status:

• This quick screening tool will assess whether you qualify for COVID-19 testing. If your screening indicates you should be tested, you will be connected to Bergen New Bridge Cares, our telehealth service, for further assessment.

If you qualify after your telehealth session, you will be scheduled for testing at the Bergen New Bridge drive-up testing site.

1. Do I need a physician order to be tested? Yes. You will either need a physician order from your primary care physician or you need to be evaluated by one of our telehealth providers.

2. How long until I will get my result? Typically, the results will be available in 24 to 48 hours, though in some cases it will take up to 4 days.

3. How will I be notified? You will receive a phone call from 201.225.4000. One of our staff will call you directly with your results. You will be asked to verify your name and date of birth. Copies of results will NOT be sent to your primary care physician. You may request a copy of your results by calling medical records at 201.967.4065.

4. What should I do between getting tested and being notified of my results? Please follow the Post Test Instructions (click to download) and speak with your primary care or ordering providers. If you have an increase in symptoms or difficulty breathing, please seek immediate medical attention.

5. Is this covered by insurance? Yes, it should be covered by your health insurance but please check with your insurer for further clarification.

Prescription is Necessary

Where: Kean University, 1000 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ 07083

Who: Union County Residents Only- with a prescription. Union County residents can report symptoms and schedule testing by calling 908-373-5105 or 908-214-7107.

When: The testing Center is open Monday-Friday from 9 am – 5 pm. Please note that people with existing appointments will be seen first.

What do I need to do: If you have a VALID PRESCRIPTION for Covid-19 testing please email COVID19TEST@UCNJ.ORG with the following information: Your full name, home address, phone number, email address, gender, race, date of birth, photo of your script, the physician’s name, address and phone number and then you may directly go to our Union County Drive-Through Testing Center for COVID-19 at Kean University.

Additional Information:
For the safety, health and security of the volunteers at the site, the testing location will not allow patients without vehicles to enter campus, even with a valid prescription and appointment. If you do not have your own transportation, please discuss with your healthcare provider before scheduling an appointment.

Also, if you believe you may have symptoms of COVID-19, there is a self-assessment tool that you should use that has been developed by the State of New Jersey. Who: Mercer County residents only When: Drive thru Testing Site open from 8:00am to 4:00pm

What do I need to do: To receive an appointment, your doctor must send notification to the site that you meet testing requirements and are symptomatic. The testing center is by appointment only for symptomatic Mercer County residents age 18 or older who have a prescription from their primary health care provider (PCP). If you are symptomatic for COVID-19 and want to be tested, contact your PCP.

Where: NJ MVC Kilmer Inspection Center, 33 Kilmer Road, Edison, NJ 08817

Who: Middlesex County residents only.

When: Registration online (at the below website) and the testing open at 10:00am

What do I need to do: Go to the following website: Once there follow the prompts in order to be evaluated and eligible for an appointment for testing.

Additional Information: To receive testing, you must be a Middlesex County resident (valid driver’s license or state issued identification is required), make an appointment online or via phone, as well as either have a valid doctor’s prescription or be exhibiting symptoms which include: fever 100.4 degrees or higher (99.6 degrees for people 65 years and older); respiratory symptoms; and/or shortness of breath.

Monmouth County

Where: PNC Bank Arts Center, 116 Garden State Parkway, Holmdel, NJ 07733

Who: Individuals who are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness. In order to be eligible for testing, individuals must be current New Jersey residents and experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness. Priority will be given to symptomatic individuals experiencing cough, fever (99.6F or above) and shortness of breath.

Please Note: Saturdays are reserved for First Responders and Health Care Workers

Burlington County

Where: Burlington County Emergency Services Training Center, 53 Academy Drive, Westampton, NJ 08060

Who: Burlington County Residents Only

When: You would need to call to schedule

What do I need to do: Go to the following website and complete the evaluation:

You must call 609-726-7097 to make an appointment.

Additional Information: You DO NOT need a prescription


Where: Cooper’s Poynt Park, 801 Delaware Ave, Camden, NJ 08102

Who: Camden County residents only

When: By appointment only

What do I need to do: Go to the following website and complete the evaluation: The testing site is open to county residents, by appointment only, who have symptoms and meet other criteria, and who have received a referral for testing from a medical provider (at Cooper, Virtua, CamCare, or other provider.

Additional Information: Call 856- 968- 7100 for more information. The testing site is Drive thru or Walk-up


Where: Rowan College-Cumberland Campus, 3322 College Drive, Vineland, NJ 08360

Who: This site is open to residents of Cumberland County and patients of CompleteCare Health Network. If you are a Cumberland County resident, you do not need to be a member of CompleteCare Health Network to be tested.

When: You will need to schedule an appointment

What do I need to do:
1. Visit’s complete the form, and choose COVID-19 Telephone Screening as your reason for visit.
2. Wait for a call back from CompleteCare. The agent will schedule you a telephone screening with a CompleteCare provider.
3. During your telephone appointment, the provider will determine if you need to be tested. Not everyone will require a test.
4. If you require a test, your prescription will be electronically submitted to Lab Corp.
5. After your prescription is submitted, the Cumberland County Health Department will contact you to schedule your drive-thru test appointment time.

At the day and time of your scheduled appointment you should visit the Cumberland County testing location. No one will be tested without an appointment

Additional Information: Do not visit the test site without both a prescription and an appointment provided to you by the Cumberland County Health Department. If you do not have a prescription or appointment, you will not be tested.
