The NBN Explorer’s Club Camp

The NBN Explorer’s Club Camp starts June 26Th

This exciting camp is designed for children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, PDD, & other behavior challenges; Ages 4-21. This year we have an all new, Explorer’s Club Camp experience planned!

Some of our new programs include Superflex®, Teaching students to get in touch with their inner superhero to more effectively approach difficult situations, Junior Counselor Program, A Life Skills Workshop and Healthy U-Teaching children that eating healthy and being physically active every day can be fun. Our New Explorations Include:

 

  • Developing Social Skills, Coping Skills & Independent Living Skills
  • Participating in Sports, Arts, Music & Movement, Science, Legos and Cooking Clubs.
  • Exploring the world on various field trips
  • Creating memories and friendships to last a lifetime

 

A Day in the Life of a Little Explorer…

  • 8:30-9:00 Before Care
  • 9:00-9:15 Camp Morning Meeting, in all purpose room
  • 9:15-9:30 “Q Tip Fireworks” Fine motor/sensory activity
  • 9:30-9:45 Bounce House
  • 9:45-10:00 Snack
  • 10:00-10:15 Caring Canines Therapy Dog Meet & Greet
  • 10:15-10:30 Superflex® Social Skills Group
  • 10:30-10:45 Water Play
  • 10:45-11:00 Patriotic Photo Booth
  • 12:15-1:00 Lunch and Recess
  • 1:00-1:30 Story Time/Craft with Junior Counselors
  • 1:30-2:00 Clubs
  • 2:00-2:15 Snapology with Certified Snapology Instructor
  • 2:15-2:45 NBN Players Drama Club
  • 2:45-3:00 Camp Afternoon Meeting
  • 3:00-5:30 After Care- Station Activities

Half Day Sessions are 9:00AM -12:00PM and 12:00PM -3:00PM

 

Full Day Sessions are 9:00AM – 3:00PM

 

Before and After Care

 

Drop off at 8:30AM and pick up at 5:30PM

Calming Sirens

We would like to invite you to an event at Rowan College in Burlington County on Saturday, May 6, 2017, from noon to 2pm on the Mt. Laurel Campus Enterprise Center Building.

The event is called Calming Sirens and is for individuals with Special Needs in order to familiarize them with law enforcement.
