The holiday season can be a particularly hectic and overwhelming time for families with children on the autism spectrum. It is often difficult to shop or prepare for celebrations and activities. To assist families with child care responsibilities, the PRIDE Program, of New Behavioral Network is offering a Holiday Respite Program. Children will be able to participate in a variety of activities, under the supervision of qualified professionals, within a safe environment. Below is the general program information.
WHEN: Saturdays, Dec. 6, 13, 20, 2008 and January 3, 2009
WHERE: New Behavioral Network - 2060 Springdale Rd. Suite 500, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003
TIME: 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
STAFF: Clinical supervisors and direct instructors
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
- Arts and crafts; social activities
- Gross and fine motor activities
- Creative expression experiences
- Story time
- Relaxation
DROP-OFF: 9:15 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
PICK-UP: 1:45 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
NOURISHMENT: Snacks, beverages, lunch – all provided by family and properly marked
